If you were to pay someone to put up your Christmas Lights, how much would you expect to pay them?

Make sure they have insurance.  Not sure in your town but here in Chicago it is your responsibility to make sure they do. If they don't have insurance and you allow them to do work and fall off your roof be ready to be sued.

Why would I pay someone else, I'd be the one collecting payment.  ;)

Then charge them 100 billion dollars *pinky*.  When they decline tell them to barter, meet somewhere in the middle.

Me and my friend were joking about this a couple days ago, "the first one, is free, the SECOND one, is also free, but the third one, is ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!"

Have you done cold calling before? If not you should practice and look for tips from people who do that for a living. You don't want to sound like Chevy guy from last night.
