This was attempted some time last year, and the year before I think. Team iMtG is something users have been asking for a long time. I believe Piotr's wife sells shirts. The thread is somewhere. No one is sponsored to my knowledge, and you can rep iMtG on Magic Online. Silent1236 is the Captain, and I give away free cards whenever I'm online. (USERNAME: Dudecore)

Let's PM Piotr to get custom versions with our names under the logo. I vote black shirts for all. Large logo on the breast pocket.

Yo, you're in VA right? We should hit an SCG IQ and rock it.
I'm (hopefully) moving to VA late November/early December...

PMed Piotr. So far the team showing up go to GP SJ is falcon and I :P

Dudecore

Yep. I'm in virginia. I dont play standard, but I could rock some EDH side event and whatnot. My LGS is doing an IQ I believe. With the new changes to FNM I might be playing more then usual. Especially if a sweet promo is involved.

So could we get like a team list made up somewhere? (Possibly stickied by a Mod.) like "these are the competitive representatives of our iMTG community"
*List of players and what format they're in*
And as they play, we keep updates on how they did in what events they did.

I agree with this.

First off though, we need to find a mod who can/wants/will do this, then, send to them the list of those who're wanting to do this, decks they're using. Then, as time goes on, give updates of event info (placings, DCI information? Like points and what not.)

Dudecore

We can add a mod that is willing to do this :P

Mods tend to notice and recommend others that help provide content, community organization and help others. If someone wants to raise the banner on Team iMtG I'm sure they'll be a seat for you somewhere.

If/when I get money I can try to do Alberta events.

I had an idea, it's a little of a stretch, but basically I was wondering if our iMTG reps  could post their decks, and we could have sort of a group dedicated to improving their decks, tips and such, cuz it can help to get an outside opinion on your decks sometimes, pick up on some interaction you might have missed.
So like have our team iMTG, and then the iMTG "deck techs?" Would that be the term?
Anywho yeah that was my idea.

A professional player does not have a "deck" they play test every single deck in thr format and make decisions on what to play based on the current meta and testing.  I currently have built Tom Ross's boss sligh, ross Meriams gb devotion, abzan/sultai delve, and a UB control list. It really depends on the meta and the environment of what dedk I plan to play in a given competitive rel tournament. You also have to consider factors like a players drafting and sealed skill besides how well they play constructed. Oh and if you ever need limited help/ best standard deck in a given time I'll be happy to help.
