When people use less rather than fewer where fewer is more appropriate.

...and ants.
I hate ants.

LinkCelestrial

My room was infested with ants. I used to take my pocket knife and see how many limbs I could cut off before they died. Then my dad bought poison and we sprayed them down.

My room was also infested with wasps. I did not use a pocket knife for those.

So would you rather I say I want less ants in the world or fewer ants in the world. :-)

You use fewer if it can be counted, like ants.  You use less if it can't be counted.  Like less water in my cup.
Oh, I know well enough.
I kinda hate how the correct response to "How are you!" Is "Well," but people think you're weird if you don't say "Good." Which means I am doing good deeds rather than your good health.

This guy gets it. It pertains to the life of a grammar fascist (Nazi were fascist), which would be the correct term. I do not believe there is such a thing as grammar communism.

My gears are grinding right now.

The one time my dog, the "great hunter" that she is, finally catches something for the first time in 13 years... She pins a skunk to ground.

Poor girl, got it good, right in the face and eyes :( why do stupid skunks even exist?

A term I've tried to coin. I don't think Nazi fits the deffinition. I just want to spread the grammar around, y'know? Common ownership of the grammar. Would that be Socialism. I always confuse the two.

I suppose so, however the popular term refers to fascism, which lies on the opposite extreme end of the political spectrum.

Communism is where each individual contributes there resources into a pool then only takes out what they need. Of course that never lasts long because the hard workers realize they're carrying the lazy people and quit.

Socialism is where the government wants complete aggressive control of social and business aspects of it's people.

Things that grind my gears, people that call socialists communists. Socialists that call themselves communists.

These definitions...just ,no.

Why?...

Those are the simplified definitions as far as I know. If you have evidence to the contrary, by all means share. "These definitions...just, no." Really isn't helpful.

Anyways, back to the topic:
