also an alternate win con if they have tucked your general so you cant scavenge is {living end} and {living death}. black green has great self mill like {mulch}, {shared trauma}, {grisly salvage}, {buried alive}, {jarad's order}. also dredge is amazing so i would say {life from the loam}, and other good dredgers like {stinkweed imp} {golgari thug}, and {golgari grave troll} to help fill your yard.also {phyrexian soulgorger} and {nyxalith}, are good scavenge targets and {lord of extinction} is just a bomb in edh in general. {gyre sage} {experiment one}, and {lotleth troll} are all great targets to scavenge on. and {nyx weaver} in case theres anything you cant live without.

{Deadbridge Chant} and/or a {reanimate} sub-theme has potential here, too. Since you're probably already dumping a ton of things in your grave for Varolz, the occasional ability to slap something important right onto the battlefield instead of exiling it with scavenge could be a huge deal.

Say you mulch away {Sheoldred, Whispering One} or {Sisters of Stone Death} or something. Sure, scavenging them is a nice option. But having them on the battlefield is an even better one!

thank you sir. ive always considered making my {geth, lord of the vault} deck into golgari so ive thought about it a lot. i might also consider adding white and going for {karador, ghost chieftan} and sticking with a graveyard theme. white allows you to play broken cards like {land tax} and also just really good removal like {swords to plowshares} and {path to exile}. either way have fun!
