It is a draw spell that sets up your next two draws for one mana.  I don't see any draw backs to that card.  I am surprised it was a common, though.

Who thinks {purphorous god of the forge} is under valued right now?  $15 for a foil seems like a steal.

{goblin Rabblemaster} and all this token generation we are getting seems like purphorous would be great in a Boros build.

I mentioned {Goblin Rabblemaster} last page. I keep watching it and {Mana Confluence} climb as I happily hold on to mine. For now.

I got lucky and bought a playset of {mana confluence} at my LGS for $42.  I got them incase I decide to get into standard.

Got a while for it to rotate and yes it will be a $5 card after rotation IMO.  Right now we are entering a tri-color block so that card is so useful right now.  The fetch lands are great but it's not like they can fetch shock lands in standard.

Fetches, temples, the new multicolored KTK cards, pain lands.  There is a lot of mana fixing in the works.  I see it going down quickly. Mana Confluence is just another version of Brass Temple; I cannot see it holding its value post rotation.
