Counters (+1/+1 etc) PennyGems

I have been thinking about making my self counters for mtg rather than using glass beads.
During a random magic related web search I came across PennyGems ( http://www.impobj.com/PennyGems )
And was wondering if anyone had used them?
If so are they any good?

I've seen someone use glass beads before to remind him of triggers. Basically he puts them ontop of his library, when he goes to draw (because no one forgets to draw) he pulls them off and does his upkeep triggers. Pretty ingenious.

As far as anything else, I've always just used dice. Including upkeep trigger reminders.

Oh that is a tip I'm going to have to use for remembering abbilitys

Yea I use dice, you can buy 30 or so at your local game store for 15 bucks

Yep. Chessex dice in a nifty storage container is fine for what you need them for. I always found markers (like the "Battle Markers" they put in Commander's Arsenal) a bit limited. You need 6 markers for every 1 dice you have to carry.

Besides, you can buy Chessex that match your EDH cards

Be very careful when you open a container of those dice... EVERY SINGLE ONE (literally, every one) I've seen is cracked along the top.
