So like just wondering, who the hell would win??? Garruk is the caller of beasts/apex predator but I mean Ajani is just a badass that took on Nicol Bolas by himself! Sooo in y'all's unbiased opinions lol who would take home the championship belt between these two

Ajani...I mean. He fought THE dragon Planeswalker who's one of the main antagonists of Magic.

Garruk just kinda. Chills in his forest. Playing with bears and getting tricked by the Veil...

But lets talk cards.
Ajani can summon a million cats or one huge beast avatar. Or kill all your lands.

Oh obviously that apex predator ability means he wins all the time lol but I was speakin more of the magic lore lol I think those two fighting would still be freakin epic.

Only most recent version of the Planeswalker.

Everything has to fit the flavour as best as possible. {Anjani's Pridemate}, {Garruk Packleader}, stuff like that.

I'm not sure what a good flavour card number is but I'm thinking somewhere around 30 if reasonable.

Keep to colours the Planeswalker is/has been. (So you'll have access to {W}{R}{G} and me to {B}{G})

No lockout cards. (Like if I magically end up running dredge you don't throw in {Rest In Peace}, and I'll do the same)

No other Planeswalkers and no gods. It's Garruk vs Anjani not Garruk, Erebos and Sorin vs Anjani, Elspith and Purphoros.

No infinite combos.

We'll post the decks first and put them through review by each other and whoever else feels like it. Then once we're sure they're as Anjani-ey and Garruk-ey as possible play best out of five.

Sound good? Anything to add/change?

Yes and no, though I love the ideas u've come up with, I feel having access to all versions of each PW should be allowed.  After all, garruk was cursed at one point.  Plus it gives access to more "flavor"

I'm thinking flavour wise previous versions just don't make sense. Why would Garruk wanna kill Anjani until now, when he decided all Planeswalkers must die? Previous versions don't have any motivation.
