Courser isn't that great with fetches all it does is turn the fetchlands into "sac, pay 0 life: put a land into play
So mana fixing at no cost?  Yeah that seems bad... 0.o

I'm saying it's not amazing as you'd think plus in std it gets a basic land so it's barely mana fixing. If I'm playing 3 colored sure I can get 1/3 but it's not like I can find my steam vents and get 2/3.

Also with courser they (fetches) have the same interaction as a basic land. Say I'm at 20. You play a fetch go to 21 and search go to 20 and find a basic go to 21. Or say you top deck a basic and no fetch you start at 20 and go to 21. The interaction with courser is nothing with fetches ...

Having said that fetches back will be awesome!! :P and I'm excited :D

So, now that the spoilers are raining in, {Nissa, Worldwaker} up or down? I'm not seeing anything that'll make her better in standard...

On a secondary note I have two {Mana Conflunces}. Are they worth keeping forever or should I unload them? If unload, when?

I find this advice highly sketchy.

but if you fetch without a courser its obviously worse. your comparing fetching with courser to just playing a land. fetching with a courser is better than fetching without one.

What Theros Block cards do you think will jump like {Nightveil Specter} and {Desecration Demon} did when Theros came out?

{Fleecemane Lion}??

Craig Westcoe thinks that Fleecemane will be the best creature post-rotation

Will crackling doom have any effect on fleecmane?

MuggyWuggy

I'm sure crackling doom + howl of the horde with raid trigger would take care of a board

blackychan1

I have 7 fleecemane lions! They need to skyrocket!!!

But seriously, anybody? Sounds like I should wait on {Mana Conflunce} but I'd like to know if they're eternally playable? In which case I should keep?

All signs seem to point to Nissa going down so I'm thinking unload?

Thoughts?

adventus

I think {Mana Confluence} will be a $3 card when it rotates.  Same as the {City of Brass} reprints.

MuggyWuggy

nissa will only be able to do forest...and post rotation...not so many forest other than {forest}

Mana confluence...it hurts too much

I think I have you beat. I preordered 2 playsets, and opened 3, 2 of which were foil
