I would definetly splash more into black for {thoughtseize}, {hero's downfall}, {whip of erebos}, the death touch Minotaur and {gnarled scar hide}. Would also look into magma jet as well to help set up draws

Still looking for help here

Honestly this deck looks pretty solid. The only thing I'd think of adding is {Chariot of Victory} for that first strike, trample and deathtouch combo, and maybe some more removal.

{Dreadbore} and {Doomblade} are the best right now, sadly both are going to rotate quickly. {Hero's Downfall} is great but if you're on a budget {Murder} isn't completely horrible. {Rakdos Charm} might also be worth running but {Searing Spear}s and {Lightning Strike}s provide spot removal and finishers if needed.

I'm trying to stay away from stuff that is rotating

{hero's downfall} then definitely. should be able to find a playset on ebay for a minimal amount.

Yes, {Hero's Downfall} is best then. The alternative option is burn spells but that'd really depend on your meta game. It is cheaper so it might be worth doing until you get your hands on {Hero's Downfall}
