No it wouldn't. It would make the deck hundreds of times more potent in EDH. You want to be shocking everyone every turn. You're playing enough token generators for him to work as the general. Also, Norin only really synergies with about 6 cards in the deck. Purphoros synergies with everything that's a creature or creature generator

Playing with Purphuros as your commander  is like wearing a shirt that says "everyone kill me as fast as you can," though. If you've ever played against one, you know. It's really annoying, and you will get hated out of the game REAL fast.

Norin, on the other hand, is fun and non-threatening. You get a lot if solid combos with him, without having a target on your head before the game even starts.

Also, he's hilarious. Which is why I said defeats the purpose. I play mainly stupid (or seemingly stupid) commander decks for fun, this is one of them.

Possibly a  {Hissing Iguanar} just for some insurance on the amount of creatures u put out n possibly sac and maybe a  {Goblin Bombardment} for extra fire power

why so much blue hate in {red elemental blast} and {active volcano}? will be dead cards in some matchups.

I think one of those was a mistake,  but this is meant to be a multiplayer deck and blue is... blue so people will be playing it most likely.

Ill update this with your suggestion once I get my ipod back. It kinda got lost for a bit :-/
