Other then lands i know someone was gonna say it.
For me {birds of paridise} is card i run in almost all mu decks

I don't automatically add anything in, but if a deck is mainly black, {Dark Ritual} is almost always a must for me. I love Dark Ritual.

Its different for each deck. Some decks it's {Death's Shadow} some it's {Chandra, the Firebrand} or {Jace, Memory Adept} you never know but once you build an effective deck you can kinda feel what's the main card.

If the deck has green in it, {Manamorphose} and {Harrow}/{Skyshroud Claim} are almost guaranteed.

I agree with a lot of these like {brainstorm} and {force of will} in legacy, although I am not running them in my U/W StoneBlade deck because it is more of an {aether vial} deck that try's not to actually cast too many cards.

{dark ritual} and {lightning bolt} 👍 other auto-includes for me.....I usually only do 2-3 {dark rituals} in a deck cuz there is nothing worse than drawing a useless ritual when you are trying to top deck.
