Phrexian revoker or pithing needle

Spencer Addington

Spencer Addington

That's really tough. They both have things going for them.

{Pithing Needle}, because,

It doesn't die to creature removal.
It's one mana less.
It's harder to slow down with bounce spells.

But doesn't stop creature created mana

Very small drawback compared to the upsides. How often do you play {Phyrexian Revoker} on a mana rock? It's more likely to be nailing Planeswalkers or other nasties.

The drawback of not being able to attack for two is pretty relevant though...

Not if the {Phyrexian Revoker} is actually being productive. There's no way they wouldn't block and kill it if it's tying up anything important. Short of having no creatures in which case a 2/1 really isn't your best damage output.

Just dawned on me {Phyrexian Revoker} is STRICTLY better than {bronze sable}

SHOTS FIRED!!!!!!

Just messing Llama

Bronze Sable > Storm Crow

Yeah, went there...
As priest of the Stormcrowieth Church, YOU HAVE SINNED AGAINST OUR BIRD AND SAVIOR!!!!

Can we stop with the Storm Crow .poo. like seriously it's a dumb thing. Plus {Bronze Sable} > anything.

Also I'd go for needle the "dies to doom blade argument" should never be a reason to not run a creature but in this case I think it should

Another reason why Pithing Needle is better!

But thenagain what deck is it for? Bc hate bears would prefer revoker

A 2/1 for damage output is still MUCH better then no damage output at all....lol there is really no argument against that

Agreed and it all depends on what kinda deck you are making.
