Hey guys just a question regarding reaper king's CMC being 2/W 2/U 2/G 2/B 2/R

The card states on it the CMC is ten so I can cast it for ten of any colour mana??
Or can I just pay the 5 one of each colour?

But due to the card saying its CMC is ten in commander dose he cost ten if he has been cast then dies due to the card saying he is a ten cost?

regardless of his cmc, if hes your commander, everytime he goes back to command zone he will cost 2 colorless more. so first cast, he either costs the ten colorless or the five colored mana. once he has died, he will now cost 12 colorless mana, but still have the option to pay the 5 colored mana plus the 2 colorless commander tax. so either way, it will cost two colorless more, but you can still may the colored mana cost plus commander tax and be fine.

When you cast {Reaper King},  you choose how to pay each mana symbol.  You could pay:
{W}{U}{B}{R}{G} or
{W}{U}{B}{R}{2}  or
{W}{U}{R}{4}  or
{R}{8}  etc.

To be exact, there are 2^5=32 different unique choices for how to pay {Reaper King}'s mana cost.

For Commander, you would still have to pay an additional {2} for each time you cast him past the first.

Side question; if I have {Mutavault} in play and I activate it, can I destroy target permanent due to Reaper king's last ability?

Gorzo

No. Even though Mutavault will count as a scarecrow, it's not entering the battlefield when you animate it - it's already on the battlefield (and had to be on it already in order for you activate its ability)
