I reveal a miracle when I draw the decide if I want to play it. Judge said it made sense to him.
There's nothing against that in the rules. Just don't expect to play it for the miracle cost later in the turn, obviously.

Poof

I don't see Why u would reveal if not playing it right when u draw

Harmon74

Well, say you draw the green card that is miracle instant that is like a super giant growth, you reveal it to your opponent.  Now it's your attack phase.  You've got 3 attackers, and hes got 2 blockers.  Can you play the miracle card after blockers are declared?

sure as long as it is an instant and you are paying FULL price

Poof

You're paying full price for it if it's an instant and he knows u have it so why did u reveal it again?

Harmon74

Well that's what I'm wondering.  If you reveal it when you draw it, can you wait to play it during attack for miracle cost?

You only ever get one time to cast it as a miracle and that is right when you draw it.

or more specificly

The latest reminder text for Miracle reads You may cast this card for its Miracle cost WHEN YOU DRAW IT if it's the first card you drew this turn.

Exactly!  Just read the card and do what it says, not what you think/want it to say. 😜

You start by choosing a value for X. Say you declare X=2. Then you pay (2)(2)WWW or 4WWW.  When it resolves, you get two 4/4 angels.

Juggalonoke

Ok then why did they make it a dual X instead of a single X like the sun zeniths instead of confusing people

If they gave you one 4/4 flier for every one mana, well that's pretty broken.

So far you are the only one that I've heard from that is confused.

Just sayin'.
