After a little bit of trade in (about $50 worth of Standard jank and a Chronicles {Blood Moon}, Lorwyn {Jace Belerin} and an antiquities {Power Artifact}) giving me $60 in store credit, and a little negotiation and luck on my end, I picked up a $54 {Gaea's Cradle} from my LGS today. Walked in on a whim while my girlfriend and I were driving by to get points (They have a point system through a card service called Five Star) for walking in, noticed a gentleman was trading in 2 {Gaea's Cradle}s. I knew I had this one chance to finally obtain one, because those things were going to move fast. I immediately had the owner thumb through my binders for trade-in value, and then was able to negotiate him down to $140 on one of them due to it being "beat up", (the edges had very minimal wear) then proceeded to use my girlfriends 20% off singles from her Five Star loyalty card, then used the $60 in store credit I had just obtained, and payed $54 out of pocket for it. Winning. I am a very happy camper right now. 1 down and 3 to go! Legacy Elves, one day you will be mine!
