Has anyone ever considered using the hard sleeves used for sending cards in the mail for sleeves in a deck. Would it be tournament legal to do so?

Heh, be the most annoying noise while shuffling

I don't believe they're legal since the cards are in different positions in every sleeve. Just what I heard from a pro player at my shop

IDEA STRIKES!!!

My shop will hate me at my next fnm.

I know a guy who did this. His 60 card deck was about 9 inches tall and impossible to shuffle.

Sure, it was funny, but completely impractical. As for for tournament legality, the answer is no. Both because of the card position reason above, and there is a rule that your deck must be able to be shuffled without assistance in a timely fashion.

What if someone made 'perfect fit' hard sleeves. *this will be my next big scheme*

Just laminate all your cards

Stack shuffle. And you can shuffle one half, then the other.

Lol I seen someone do this too back in the early 90's. The funny part was he really didn't have anything of value in his deck and the sleeves were so loose that his cards would fall out.

Normal sleeves inside the hard sleeves. I will make this happen

Something like this exists because they're used to prevent the dust and stuff that gets on your cards, my shop sells them haha
