Looking for sideboard suggestions too please

Not SB but I'd MB 4 {Eidolon of the Great Revel} I'd take out 2 Spark Trooper and 2 guttys for them

Yes, but life is just another resource. Who cares if you're at 20 life when he dies? 
If you can't kill him faster than your Eidolon kills you, it's not Eidolon's problem.

This^^ there's a reason why legacy and modern burn run Eidolon

Nah he's not at all

Satyr saves your burn for player, rather than their creatures

I prefer to boros burn as a boros charm to a players face with Satyr Firedancer out will instantly remove a stormbreath dragon or blood baron, and you still dealt 4 dmg to the player

Guttersnipe is wonderful but I feel more so for a control build, he's really a 5 drop in theory - you don't wanna bring him out t3 just to have him be removed instantly and with burn: you don't want a long game
Once a life gain happens, like sphinx rev or thune, it gets hard to burn them down again

Well considering every mtgtop8 deck in Standard Modern and Legacy runs a playset of him I'd say that he is wrong lol trust me/us eidolon of great revel is why burn is so good right now

Unless he's going Red Devotion it's not worth it the reason why shriek maw is good is bc it's one card not 2

thats why i called it mini shriekmaw. certainly not the same but can do the job and still gives you a blocker. free spells are normally pretty powerful. i would test it.
