Not to rain on your parade, but in an attempt to educate you, this combo was posted here several months ago. You do need 100 posts to edit karma and only 1 like per 24 hours. To get more posts, I would recommend playing a wall game. If you need more pointers, we have a section labeled welcome four new users
Thank you! I'll be sure to look through it

I almost forgot about the original post, {curse of bloodletting} and {gratuitous violence} double damage and I would recommend something like {fervor} or {racecourse fury} to give him haste

Question/combo improvement. If you give him lifelink do you gain the life before or after your life is halfed? I assume after in which case you still need to keep yourself alive. (So you don't die as a SBA) Tap, half everyone, then gain it /all/ back. Brilliance. In which case lifelinking in red (ha) and artifact are needed to take this combo the extra mile. {Basalisk Collar} is the first thing that comes to mind but it's a tad expensive. You also need to keep him alive especially once he gets lifelink. {Darksteel Plate} perhaps?

Basically you get to majorly up your life total each turn while halfing everybody else's. And like all good multiplayer decks you're more effective with more people playing.

Sadly I've brainstormed all this and it turns out my dad ended up drafting  {Heartless Hidetsugu}. Might have to trade it off him as he already owns {Krenko, Mob Boss} as a red Commamder.

lifelink is not a trigger. it is a quality of damage. so it happens at the same time as damage and you wont die as sba in between.

That's insane. {Heartless Hidesugu} is now on my top threats list.

5/9 Turtle

You could equip {inquisitors flail} to it and make it easier

That's only for combat damage, though.
