If archwing dragon dies does it still go back to your hand at the end of the turn

Dudecore

From the future comes....rulings 5/1/2012: {Archwing Dragon} is only returned to its owner's hand if it's on the battlefield.

Poof

Once it dies it's not archwing dragon anymore for future reference.

K-RO

Alright thanks, I know it's probably a dumb question but figured I'd ask anyways

Found another use for {sundial of the infinite} though.

Nah, not really.  It goes back every end step.  Even if you skip the trigger on your turn, it'll get bounced at the end of theirs.   :(

Poof

It's a triggered ability so it's always going to trigger during the end step

Well it still gives you a blocker during their turn.

Someone who needs a blocker

scarsabrex

paying 6 mana repeatedly for a blocker? remember you wouldn't get to attack with the dragon in that case

BlackJester

I know, if you're desperate you could, but a red 4/4 flier for 2RR really wants to be in aggressive decks. Not the kind that might play Sundial.
I see it more as a 4 damage {Lava Axe} that you can recast over and over.
