Viable Angel Tribal?

Howdy peeps!

So my local play group is holding a Tribal Legacy Constructed tournament. Whenever they've held these in the past, I've always taken in my Oona's Army {U}{B} mill deck and always done ok. As a result, they've dared me to make a different deck. Knowing my love for the tribal type, they've gone even further daring me to do Angels. I would love to, BUT how do you propose I do it best?

At the moment I'm looking at {G}{W} mana ramp and flicker/exiles until I can get the creatures out, then smash face with the likes of  {Sigarda, Host of Herons}, {Gabriel Angelfire} and a few other staple fatties.

What do you guys think?

Well {W} so {swords to plowshares} in.

You could spin it into an enchantment/angel deck by building around {sigil of the empty throne} and run {enlightened tutor} to help fetch it

And then run good enchantment creatures like {courser of kruphix}, {eidolon of countless battles}, {eidolon of rhetoric} and what not

The are enchantments to trigger {sigil of the empty throne}.  Read the entire post first

Yeah, bugger them. An Angels deck won't be competitive at all with all the goblins and zombies running around! I'm gonna go with Kittyquipment.

If you want to run equipment the best way is to go Deathblade

Totally agree! Buuuut, I like home brew, not net decks. I don't have the same satisfaction winning with someone else's deck, I actually prefer losing with my own decks than that.

Wait a sec lets think for a minute legacy tribal ... Means lots of creatures ... Why not play a deck with removal that can punish the creatures idk how it fits tribal but include wraths and stuff (just spitballing)

y'know I was actually thinking Orzhov Spirits with token gen for that reason. Abusing the creature based deck idea by using the common "destroy/exile creature, put spirit token" theme. Now am leaning back toward that now too. 😫

Is this a tribal tourney?? Like everyone chooses a tribe? Or a legacy tourney you want to go tribal with?

If tribal tourney I had success with a human/knight mono white build.

Other ideas wizards with clique and snap caster.

Merfolk was decent.
