Fix the trade system

Hey Piotr, would it be possible to change the trade system, you have to provide a valid credit/debit card number to 1 prove your age, 2 provide compensation to the victim if they are stolen from?  That way, people like sparkle and Slenderbro can't just rip someone off, and it keeps all the kids that rely on their parents from trading unless their parents know about it.

I feel like that would solve 95% of trade problems.  People wouldn't rip other people off, people would start sending  with tracking, and they would package them correctly.

Unfortunately this is a large request that doesn't generate any of the revenue it would require to run in. We're talking legal ground here with acquiring credit cards.


Tracking is the best overall for peace of mind.

For new users, make small trades first and establish credit

Older traders have the reputation, so new users try to trade with them first to build up yours.

And as always: do not trade what you cannot afford to lose

I made the mistake of sending first to a new trade user and it has resulted in drama, fortunately, I can replace the urza lands

People will always find ways around it, what would you do if they simply started claiming that they never received their end and steal cards that way? Not everybody uses tracking (myself included so take advantage of me 😏)

Yeah Taysby you also want to consider that some Sony want to ruin their credit score so don't want to get a credit card. I'm with spence on this that its a bad idea

I completely disagree with this. Where I can see your point I think you need to look at it from everyone's perspective. I myself do not have a credit card an frankly never will. Also who cares if the people are under 18? If you play magic and you have cards that are needed I don't see the problem.

If you don't trust the person, simply have them send first, go through a middleman, or find a trade elsewhere.

I wont get on this app again if this Credit/Debit card thing is implemented. Especially if my social is required. There is no reason to have it on a trading card app.

Dont trade what you can't afford to lose. End of story.

Plenty of minors here are great traders. It's just a pattern that Flakey senders are usually minors. We've had adults rip people off (Kuberr/ertai)
