Seriously. So good.

I'm back in the limited game!

Here is something to talk about: Should you play decks of more than 40 with Conspiracy? Obviously, it makes the deck less consistent, but I hear that a lot of people are milling out.

If we think about it: 40 card deck, opening hand of 7=33 turns-Parley triggers, drawing and looting....

you know, thats an intersting consideration. {altar of dementia} is also a card tha makes me want to consider playing more cards. the conspiracy that lets you play with 5 less cards is very thought-provoking. i would normally play it because id rather have a more consistent deck that just played better cards but i could understand the argument against it.

Don't play it. And definitely don't be me and play two of it.

I ended up getting the card that let my lands tap for any color as long as I played my entire card pool. I ended up with a 70 card deck and needless to say it was one of the most fun drafts I've ever done.

Arbitratur

We got 2 packs for each person that we killed. I took one guy out, to get 2 packs, another guy took the 3rd guy out, so I was head to head. I was playing {U}{G} and was drawing a lot of cards and they were playing parley. I did end up milling myself, but it have me another 2 packs for killing myself! Plus turned out I was the bounty in my pod, so I got another 1 pack. 5 packs, not too shabby it thought. Haha

But no I would still not play with more than 40 cards, deck will be much less consistent then it could be. And consistancy wins games.

We did a huge 6 man with 4 packs

Milling was definitely present!

Had to go 45 cards to be safe

2 4 pack drafts tonight, won the latter, killed a few in the first! Both 6 person pod rather than 2 3way FFA. The games seems to be more interesting this way.

For the politic player/EDH fan, this is by far one of the best concepts WOTC has put out. No longer unable to win due to fault of deck build vs another with EDH. Everyone pulls great stuff, hate drafting seems pointless and rare drafting only really worth it for the foils. You can win with only an assassinate & brimstone volley in your hand :)

How's everyone else enjoying this?

Picked up a box. Split it with three others. Drafted it twice so far was hella fun. You never know what to expect. Got one more draft to do.
