So who did an event for this? How did it go? What kind of suggestion would you recommend? Any sleepers or colors that seemed to work well?

I played B/U last night. Te 4 person FFA was really wonky and made me rethink my normal draft decisions. Couple of cards that I loved:
{Stasis Cell}. Being able to move it around to open up opponents for attacks then lock down you opponents that helped you knock out a huge threat. This card was the only reason I wasn't the first to get knocked out haha
There's some cogwork that you draft face up and you draft cards to it rather than putting them in your sealed pull. He gets +1/+1 for each card you draft that way. Anyway, I put all my hate drafts and crap towards him and I had a {6} 13/13. He was cool.

Oh, and while I was drafting I thought red was meh. But I saw some pull it off, but one got Dack so I think he felt obligated

I did a 4 man draft at my lgs today
Started at 2:00 (for fun) first game didnt end till 6:30....
We had an Izzet, esper, boros, and i did naya

Just finished up my first draft, played mono-{B} Junk with {Sakura-Tribe Elder}s and {Rout} lol. This set is so sweet to draft!

I played a bant deck with lots of fliers and {Edroc, Spymaster of Trest}. I only played a 30 card deck due to my 2 {Advantageous Proclamation} and that was a mistake. I almost milled myself out. My store did it so that if you killed someone you get a pack, and I made a deal to let one person kill me instead of another if we split the pack. All in all one of my most fun days ever.

Naya was completely doable the esper was okay
Boros was strong and Izzet had the dragon. So it was all pretty decent matchup with equally skilled players (included employees of the store)

its all prerelease hype. i did the same thing back in dragons maze when it first came out when almost every rare was like 5 dollars or more. paids for like two packs and kept turning in the winnings for store credit. went through like two boxes before i finally stopped with a voice of resurgance.
