The way this is worded, you can play anyone else's lands. Is this intended? Also if you flicker him or if you recast him, it starts over. This is pretty OP.

Yes it is intended to make you be able to take anyone's lands.  Maybe if I give him shroud we can get past the blinking problem

1. Yes it should be splitter, I tend to make that mistake.
2. I wish I was able to make a way to keep the essence of green without using shroud.  Due to my over analysis of how something fits the color and typing.  Because of this, I hate something that has green with shroud.

I still like my idea with "can't be the target of spells or abilities you control." It fits green in the way that it won't be tampered with, it only uses it's natural force.

How about "When ~ leaves the battlefield, return it to your command zone" or something like that. That makes it somewhat unplayable outside of EDH though. Maybe "shuffle it into your library?"

Instead of death touch, I think infect would fit better flavor wise...

I see what you are saying, and it did cross my mind.  However a 5/7 flying infect is pretty great.  Add another effect to it, then you have to draw a line.  I just settled for Deathtouch in the end.  Maybe Wither would work better though!
