So I figured out why the packs are filled with so many goodies... Each box will have 24 packs, not 36. That way you can draft 8 people per box, duh.. Hahahaha

Yeah. Imagine pulling a foil {Brainstorm} (currently at $200 on TCG), foil {Stifle} ($100 on SCG) or a foil {Pernicious Deed} ($60-80 on SCG, depending on Judge or pack foil). This set will be bonkers.

Why is {stifle} in the set?  It seems like it isn't good in draft...

It's very good in this set. Every card just about has an activated or triggered ability to use it on. Having 1 instead of 4 is kinda weak though.

So...crunching the numbers, so I could build a cube and something odd came up. In an article, ( https://www.wizards.com/magic/magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/ld/300 ) it was mentioned that there would be 10 mythics, 35 rares, 60 uncommons, and 80 commons. For those of us who can, that adds up to 185 out of the 210 cards in the set. This was originally explained by saying that the "Draft Matters" cards would go in the basic land slot, but that accounts for 12 cards, leaving 13 cards unaccounted for. 13 is an odd number, but it also happens to be the number of Conspiracy cards in the set. So this leads me to the assumption that Conspiracies will also be put into a weird slot (such as the basic land slot, like the "Draft Matters" cards).

I think the Conspiracies and Draft Matters cards will both replace the land slot. I remember somewhere that a Conspiracy or a Draft Matters card will be in every pack.

Holding will be EXTREMELY long term bc WotC said they'll reprint it on demand. So just be careful with it
