Alright, so, I'm at 5 life.  You attack me for 10.  The game says 'alright, all damage is dealt at the same time, how much are you taking?  10?  Cool.  Are you at more than 0 life?  Yes?  Take damage, go to Negative 5'.  I only get poison counters when it says 'no' to having more than 0 life.  Then, since I'm still alive due to {Phyrexian Unlife}, {Form of the Dragon} can reset me to 5 each end step.  Unless you can pull a Nephalia Drownyard out of nowhere and race two Form of the Dragons (second in the deck, ten damage each turn), you're pretty much done for.
