It'd just be 5 fetches

It'll be 10, Wizards from now on is printing all duals at a time

They dislike the "enemy" and "ally" being in differing sets, as some decks are given an unfair advantage

Mr_Fahrenheit

I completely overlooked the fact that they don't come in tapped. It's been a long day.

Honestly there are huge reasons as to why fetches should be printed in core sets
1. Modern is becoming the poster child of magic so wotc wants to give players the ability to obtain the land base
2. I would say a solid 30% if not more of the people playing mtg don't understand the concept of how or when to fetch correctly so putting them in standard with their favorite targets (shocklands) gives players a 2 month window to really experiment with this concept competitively.
3. After two weeks how many boxes does wizards really sell of a core set? This way boxes will sell faster and bring people who like eternal formats to actually desire buying a box not just singles (they still are a business so the making money part has to still be involved).

I mean those are just a few things off the top of my head, And wizards would have plans as to how to make fetches useable in standard but idk what does everyone else think?

It's business shrewd. Fetches come out in 2015 so for 3 months you have a sudden market surge in the RtR block shock lands and, boom, all those dust covered piles of unsold dragon's maze and gatecrash boosters suddenly vanish from our LGS. That ensures increased sales of booster boxes by all the businesses and everyone wins. Except the poor saps who bought dragon's maze boosters.

That said, there will be no fetches in the core set.

I think fetches would be added to a block. Core sets are usually a pretty basic formula of MTG, whereas a block adds some spice to MTG introducing ideas of multicolor, new abilities, flavor that adds different playstyles.

I think in the core, we will get a check land or perhaps a return to hand land. Or maybe none?

What we get in the new block this fall shall determine if WotC wants to speed up standard. Highly unlikely we will get fetches until core 16 or the next block after that.

They have already designed most of Huey, Dewey and lewey, and the demand for fetches really wasn't up until the last 3 months, and I'm saying this from what I've seen posted in interviews with the Wiz people.

And in those interviews, they stated that they overlooked the possibilities that the fetches would be in such high demand. As such, they did not plan on reprinting them yet. Since the standard sets are made anywhere from 2-5 years in advance, I say that it will be that long before we see a reprint, unless they release a supplementary product. Remember,  {Verdant Catacombs} was in an event deck. However, we will not be seeing fetches in M15 or Khans of Tarkir. If I'm wrong, well then, I won't buy any reprinted fetches as punishment.

Firstly, they only work about 2 years in advance, in fact just last week, MaRo said he was handing over the design for Blood (the 2016 fall set). Secondly, it was never said that we won't see fetches for at least 2 years, the interview said that they didn't expect the price jump and would take some time to react, but that doesn't necessarily mean 2 years. The lands jumped about 6 months ago, so as long as sets weren't printed yet, they could very easily have put the lands in last minute. I am saying some time between M15 and Blood, we will see fetchlands.

There is always gonna be some advantages in each set. Look at theros wasn't white green the two best to draft. My opinion is that they will keep a return zendikar block the same five fetches. From what I hear (all rumors with no real sources so it's really more opinions) is that they are not going to put in the onslaught fetches how it can effect modern and really cause a supply/demand issue. Also it's not in the flavor of the zen block.
