I've tried {Doubling Season} in here and just got a meh feel from it. It was a really really good draw once every few games, then just dead the rest o the time. Definitely want to try the others, though!  Biomancer and Zegana will probably make me reconsider doubling season, though.

Why did you choose Jenara?

She's just the best choice.  She's incredible early game and really solid late game.  She is good by herself so, like ConanEdo said, I don't have to build around her.

I considered {Palinchron} because {Palinchron}, but I honestly really don't like infinite combos so that's probably a no-go for me.  I use {Deadeye Navigator} for synergy with things like stoneforge rather than infinite combos.

Jenara is the go to bant good stuff general, mainly since everything else besides Derevi requires you to build around it.

Even Derevi is more of a "build around" kind of general.  He's solid all the time, but really shines in straight up ETB/flicker style decks.
