If I have an elf or such creature that taps for mana do I have to wait a turn or can I tap when they come out? Thanks.

Grexis

If your elf has summoning sickness you have to wait which means you would have to have had it under your control at the beginning of you turn

I assume you mean {llanowar elves}? Yes, the definition of haste is that the creature can tap and attack the turn summoned, so the absence of this would mean you have to wait a turn before tapping it. Tell your elves to try on a pair of {lightning greaves}.

So artifacts can and land can but creatures can't? Am I right? Thank you

You are correct. Further, if a land or artifact become animated, they will have summoning sickness if you didn't control them since the beginning of the turn.

Clear as day thanks there is some discrepancy at my play group. Thanks.

Tell them to look at the rules for {Dryad Arbor}. It can't tap for mana when it comes in.

So {inkmoth nexus} once animated can't attack that turn because it's only blink moth until end of turn.  I'm confused

If you played it that turn, if you animate it you can't attack with it, or even tap it for mana. If you've controlled the Nexus since the beginning of your turn, then you can attack with it.
You can still tap it for mana if you don't animate it.

Poof

It's a land when not animated I don't see why u couldn't tap for man when u play it.

You can, unless you animate it.

Edit: Sorry I should have been clearer. Fixed.
