So now that the final set from theros block is upon us, I want the opinions of our blessed community as to what cards you think will go from below avg cards to the premium game winner after RTR rotates.  The reason I ask this is I attempt to get a hold of speculative bombs at a dirt cheap prices now!

Temples. Mana Confluence. That's about all I can think of. Stormbreath Dragon perhaps?

Reaper is brutal in my {B}{U}{G}{W}.

Vindog

 {Obzedat, Ghost Council}
{High Priest of Penance}
Maybe  {Precinct Captain} I could see B/W devotion and some stuff like reckoners for R/W to make biggest hits and yes you guessed it brimaz and archangel will be up there again

If a card isn't already seeing play in Modern or Legacy, it's unlikely to go up much more.  Anything that isn't played in those formats will tank pretty much instantly once Rotation happens.  Temples and Confluence are almost guaranteed to start rising, unless a better option is brought in with the next block.  Shock Lands are going to be the best to pick up right after rotation, as the prices should fall a little without the demand of Standard.  Then, they'll climb back up to about 15-20 apiece after a while, as Modern grows more as a format.
Temples should probably be picked up soon.  Once spoilers for M15 are done, then it's time to start offloading Standard chase cards that won't be worth anything after rotation.

I understand the eternal format standpoint, I am actually asking based on standard prices cuz I love playing the stocks of mtg

At this point I have some cards I am backing on but one is in the current block.  I buy foils of cards I think will big gainers later on.  I just bought a foil {courser of kruphix} for $15 and just a few minutes ago bought 2 foil {domri rade} for $40/each.  I see those in eternal formats and becoming big players long term.

Look at recent cards like {mox opal} or {liliana of the veil} just check those foil prices now.  I think a foil opal sold around $15-$30 at one time and foil Lily was about $40 or more at some point during standard play

I almost am thinking of eating up all the junk foils I can get my hands on. Hit the right one and it's outrageous.

I pimped out my B/W control deck and got four foil ones for free after I traded for a foil {Blood Baron of Vizkopa} (not for trade)
