If you really think about it each successive year of your life is shorter
actually it isnt, each year is 365.25 days, no matter how old you are
it may seem shorter however, as one year becomes 1/45 of your life instead of 1/17 of your life, so it seems shorter because it is a smaller fraction of your entire life

Would that explain why time seems to speed up as you age? That you're getting closer to the whole fraction of 1?

Imagine There's a room full of dads wearing Hawaiian shirts and sneakers telling each other bad jokes and they all find it hilarious.
My dad would so be in that room.

It'd be like *walks in* "dad can we pleas leave I'm hungry" and they all turn around and chant "HI HUNGRY IM DAD"

Three mathematicians walk into a bar. The first one orders 1/2 of a pint, the next 1/4 if a pint, the next 1/16th of a pint, etc. the bartender gives them one pint and says, "you mathematicians... YOU JUST DONT KNKW YOUR LIMITS!"

No no no.  It's an infinite number, ... And so forth...
It gets infinitely close to zero and keeps going. That's called a limit. In this case it gets infinitely close to 1 pint.

Youre getting way too into the joke. Its meant to be a dumb joke not a math problem :)

You can't sum up an infinite number...
