X will be the same amount in each X symbol.

Example

X just needs to be paid 3 separate times for the spell to be cast.

Essentially you need a minimum of three mana to cast a spell with X X X

3 mana for an any color mana rock ain't terrible. Not bad for an EDH rainbow deck either.

Oh oh, you may produce one mana of any color. Devotion doesn't matter for this artifact

If you pay 111 yes you can only use it for 1 mana. 222 is 2 mana, which costs 6 total mana to play. It is a good late game card
