Among all the gods, Heliod is especially furious at Xenagos's ascension. He believes Elspeth to be complicit and is intent on destroying her. After the Great Revel, Elspeth fled into the wilderness, barely escaping Heliod's wrath. Now Anthousa, the hero of Setessa, commands the mortal armies against the creatures born from Nyx.

Although Heliod did make Elspeth his champion he's clearly pissed at her.

Looks completely underwhelming so far.. Of course those jerks probably havent spouled anything good im assuming, thats their MO is it not? I do think the new mechanics are kind of dumb though, they must be runnin out of ideas..

hard to say this early about the mechanics. and i mean its not like the spoiled {brimaz, king of oreskos} and kiora first. they build some suspense and then drop the crazy cards. plus a lot of cards are better than they seem, and are only fully understood later.

Ajani's Presence is down right fantastic.
Gnarled Scarhide + Extinguish All Hope gives mono black aggro a chance to run a 75% enchantment line up and board wipe late game
Eidolon of Blossoms could end up being a necessary part of some stupidly broken combo.
And Iroas, God of Victory is just plain stupid good.

Your right. I hope they wait till the end to blow us away. I'm going to go to my shop tho and watch what people pull befor I decided what I want cause I dont want to stick money into it and have it take a poo typhoon on me cause if I'm dropping $100 on a box just to get crap I would be upset and than my fiancée would be like I told you so I hope they bring back a bomb set like world wake or the eldrazies than I would be happy

Anyone else think Iroas has a pretty good set of abilities? Mainly the 2 creature block. Will definitely be annoying to deal with.

The indestructible one drop instant common! very nice!

I really like this set, iroas and the newest one drop for red...I think ill be making my boros deck now...
