I just picked up a pack of 2014 and pulled the following:

9 commons
3 uncommons
2 rares ! {Ajani's Chosen}  {Quicken}
1 land
I always assumed the extra rare replaced the land.

There are mythical booster boxes called "god boxes". If you get a pack with more than one rare, buy the rest of the box. I got a god box of RtR and pulled like 25 shock lands plus plenty of goodies because each pack had 3 rares.

It was a foily after all.  Originally I looked at it and thought it wasn't even after I'd double checked. But still, I always thought there would be 10 commons, 3 UC, 1 rare/mythic, an advertisement/ token/ rules clarification card and and either a land OR a foily. Apparently the foil replaces a common and is packed right behind the first rare. I just don't buy enough boosters to be informed. Never mind. Proceed as normal. 😳 (face palm).
