Just realized that the evantide/shadowmoor duals would be far better then some of your land choices.  Coming in untapped and being able to change mana to preferred colors is better then gaining 1 life.  Just an idea.

Joiner Adept gets you whatever mana you need. Just have to pull it. More walkers.
