As a commander, yes you lose.
BUT
I have seen a  {Sundial of the Infinite} deck using her as a commander. Pretty op.

Wut? Wouldnt you still lose since she still must enter the battlefield? I thought itd be a statebased action that doesnt use the stack

Im not trying to be argumentative im just trying to better understand the game

Yes, you do lose the game if you cast her from the command zone. Yes, there are ways to circumvent this.

No, he hasn't quite found the worst commander ever, IMHO. That title, in my book, goes to {Haakon, Stromgald Scourge}.

Phage's ability that causes you to lose the game will trigger when you cast her from the command zone. This is then placed on the stack.

You then use {Sundial of the Infinite} to end the turn and exile this ability from the stack.

Sparkle Ninja

If this weren't commander I'd say {Time Stop}+{Phage The Untouchable} for the same thing as Sundial because its funnier and less mana efficient. Thats how I roll

If that's a toss-up, I assume {Norin the Wary} is in the mix as well?
