Reveal the cards exiled with Pyxis. {Condemn} stays exiled, but {Bojuka Bog} and a {Forest} comes in. {Bojuka Bog} exiles the Horde's graveyard, though that does nothing because it's just put back in the graveyard.

Now I have enough mana to cast {Mercy Killing} again. I can either force the Horde to sacrifice a Minotaur, or make you sac {Leaden Myr} so everyone sacs and you still get a Minotaur plus Elf Warrior tokens.

The horde reveals 6 cards. 2 Goreseeker, 2 Plundered Statue, 1 Refreshing Elixir, and 1 Consuming Rage.

Plundered Statue
Artifact
At the beginning of the Horde's precombat main phase, reveal an additional card from the top of the Horde's library. The Horde casts that card.

Hero's Reward—When Plundered Statue is put into a graveyard from anywhere, each player draws a card.

Refreshing Elixir
Artifact
At the beginning of the Horde's precombat main phase, reveal an additional card from the top of the Horde's library. The Horde casts that card.

Hero's Reward—When Refreshing Elixir is put into a graveyard from anywhere, each player gains 5 life.

Consuming Rage
Sorcery
Whenever a Minotaur attacks this turn, it gets +2/+0 until end of turn. Destroy that creature at end of combat.

How do you think we should distribute the damage? We've got a Goreseeker and a Younghorn with 2 +1/+1 counters on them (5 and 4 power, respectively), a Younghorn, two Goreseekers, and a Phoberos Reaver with 1 counter (3, 4, and 3 power, respectively), and 2 fresh Goreseekers (3 power). And they each get +2/+0, but they all die at the end of combat. Also, remember I have a {Mercy Killing}.

Also, looks like we're planeswalking to... Gavony.

Gavony's effects:
All creatures have vigilance.

Whenever you roll chaos, creatures you control gain indestructible until end of turn.

Can do. I will {Mercy Killing} {Leaden Myr}, forcing me to sacrifice my {Eternal Witness} and the Horde to sacrifice the Goreseeker with 2 +1/+1 counters on it, giving that Goreseeker to you. I guess I'll have the Horde swing everything at you. So that's a 6/4, two 6/3s, a 5/4, a 5/3, and two 5/2s at you. I feel like you'll probably survive anyway, but creatures that the Minotaurs kill will be sacrificed anyway, so that sounds like a cool deal.

the elf token and it that betrays block the 6/4 < betrays blocks this one and 6/3 the stolen minotaur blocks the 5/4 and rhox blocks the other 6/3 cuz i get hom back and gain 2 life
so i think if my math is right i lose 8 after gain 2 from rhox

Brawler_1337

Okay, so how many {Grave Pact} triggers do I need to resolve?

AdamS

5 in the turn but 4 from blocking. do i get your creatures that you sac

Brawler_1337

No. {It That Betrays} specifies opponents. So you get Minotaurs, but not the {Eternal Witness} I sacrificed earlier.

So it looks like the blocking Goreseeker died, so he undies to the Horde's side. I suppose I'll sac him and three other Goreseekers. You might as well have the most power on the Horde's board.

Now the rest of the Horde is destroyed because it attacked. The Horde's board is now two Plundered Statues (the artifact that draws us a card), one Refreshing Elixir (the artifact that gains us 5 life), and an Altar of Mogis (the artifact that forces the Horde to sacrifice two Minotaurs).

End of the Horde's turn.

UT, UK, draw.
I think I'll tap {Murmuring Bosk} for {W}, pinging me for 1, my {Plains}, and my {Temple of the False God} to cast {Return to Dust} on both Plundered Statues. They go to the graveyard instead of being exiled, so we both get to draw two cards.

Play another {Plains}, tap it, {Forest}, {Bojuka Bog}, and {Overgrown Tomb} for {Solemn Simulacrum}, fetching out a {Swamp} tapped.

Pass. I think Gavony will help with all those Minotaurs you acquired, letting you attack and block with them. It'll also let you attack with {It That Betrays} for a lot, but you will gain control of the artifacts, and if I read them correctly, they don't care whose control they're under to make the Horde cast additional cards. 32/6.

when a stolen creature dies it gets put back into play under the hordes control

So far as I understand undying, yes. But I made him sacrifice the Minotaur that undied anyway, so you have control of it again. At least, I think you can stack the triggers that way. Have the {Grave Pact} triggers lower on the stack and the Undying triggers higher.

And that's only because you have Mikaeus on the board. Normally, if a stolen Minotaur dies, it just dies.

AdamS

and now the fun begins lol
ut uk draw
{Ancient Tomb} tap tomb and solring and 1plains 2swamp to play {vish kal blood arbiter} then using the myr and swamp/plains to cast {pawn of ulamog} roll planar die blank. how many creatures do you have?

Brawler_1337

Just a {Solemn Simulacrum}. If you're planning on sacrifice shenanigans with {Grave Pact}, I don't mind. Sad Robot lets me draw a card anyway.

AdamS

ok then i sac the strongest minotaur token to vish then sac the next one and the next for ever till vish is about 100/100 and then sac it that betrays after it comes back i sac mika to end the infinite cycle and i get 2 eldrazi spawn from this sac them for mana and play {gold myr}

Brawler_1337

Holy crap, that does work. At least with {Grave Pact}. Seems like that's game next turn. So are you leaving the Minotaurs under your control, or in the Horde's grave?

AdamS

AdamS

that is what this deck is built to do steal to infinite and destroy all in sight
