Hero's Reward—When Massacre Totem is put into a graveyard from anywhere, put the top seven cards of the Horde's library into its graveyard.

I think I'll send the Younghorn with the +1/+1 counter and two Goreseekers at you (one with the +1/+1 counter), and the Phoberos Reaver, the third Goreseeker, and the other Younghorn at me. I'm thinking of casting a {Mercy Killing} on the Goreseeker with the +1/+1 counter to save you from a bit of damage. Do you think I should do that, or hold off? Unblocked, that's 10 damage your way and 7 mine.

I've got nothing that can really help me out, but I do have a {Killing Wave}. The problem is, I don't know how it works with the horde. Does the Horde technically have infinite life, or does it have the choice to not pay for each creature? I'm thinking of cycling it so I might be able to get a land. What do you think?

K. I'll cycle it for {0}. Didn't draw poop. I think I'll tap my {Murmuring Bosk} and {Overgrown Tomb} for {G}, and tap my {Plains} to cast {Eternal Witness}, getting back {Killing Wave}. Cycle {Killing Wave} again for {0}. Not what I need, but at least I have a blocker.
