All you who have been playing for years make me feel incompetent! I started playing during Scars of Mirrodin when I was 12...of course I never really fully understood the game until around Innistrad, which is when I started playing competitively.

I started back in 96 but didn't get to into it and stopped. I collected the cards for a while after that cause I loved the artwork. It wasn't till two years ago that my husband got me back into it and I love playing now :)

23 started back in M12 when my cousin bought me a pack after forgetting that I played pokemon not Magic. It contained a foil Inferno titan which I then traded for my first deck

I'm 19, but have only been playing for about a year. When i was young, i decided that it wasn't as cool as Yu-Gi-Oh, so didn't play. Quit Yu-Gi-Oh in the seventh grade, and quit playing card games, dueto being in football and wrestling, and not wanting to seem like a nerd. Senior year, my buddy taught me to play, because he needed someone to practice against so that he would get better, and i loved it! (and i'm now massively better than him at it.)

I started with the Portal set in 1997. Played for a couple of years then drifted away until Duel of the Planeswalkers got me hooked again. I got the Sliver Premium deck then started collecting from Rise of the Eldrazi. Now I'm hooked for life!

I have cards in decks that are older than some of you young pups. 🐶 Nothing wrong with that, I just think that's crazy! 🌀

If you started in 93 I'm the same age as your cards if you started in 94 then in older than yours cards

I'm 28 and was very late to the party. Only started playing during Innistrad. When I went to school I picked the Pokemon and DBZ trading card games as I couldn't afford all of them, and those are ones my friends were also interested in. If only I had more sense back then ....
