{devour flesh} for god removal.  I just kill their other stuff first, and if it ends up being nothing but the god, I'm ok with that.  I don't expect the game to go that long.

They aren't creatures if they are the only thing out there.

A whip or two is a great win con for a used Garry IMO. Some people don't like it tho, but I've won games off it
Even better if you pitch him out to a pack rat earlier.
