Gameplan- attach a {Paradise Mantle} to {Blistercoil Weird}. Blow through my deck with one cost draw spells. Until I hit my storm card (either {Grapeshot} or {Empty the Warrens} ). {Blistercoil Wierd} can only create one mana for each spell I cast, so in order to ramp up some mana I cast one cost phyrexian instants or sorceries which allow me to untap him after spending no mana and repeat that process for as many phyrexian spells I have. {Pact of Negation} is currently the only card in the sideboard and it's there to help protect my storm spell at the end of the game.

Now I don't think this deck is complete. There are only four of each {Blistercoil Weird} and {Paradise Mantle} and no way to search for them. Ways to fix that and any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would like to get this to be functional.

4 {serum powder} is a must in decks like this. Since you don't have any way to search out your combo pieces, you'll need the ability to take free mulls.

Wow. I didn't even think of that card here. What would you suggest taking out? I'm thinking 2 {Gutshot} and maybe 2 1-cost draw spells.

Will do. That'll cut down on me drawing into too many lands and fizzling out too. I don't think I need the steam vents though. The only thing if use it for is to cast {Faithless Looting} early game, but if I have to do that to search for a peice then I'd be getting rid of things I need. As opposed to ditching two lands in the middle of comboing off.

Added in {Serum Powder} and replaced some stuff with {Quicken} and {Visions of Beyond}.

I play test the heck out of decks before I make a purchase and I always try a ton of different variations to find the best one. First one I try will be with the {Steam Vents}. I don't think it'll be better than an island, but that doesn't mean I'm right. I am far from all knowing (for now at least). Thanks for the help (:
