Tell me all what you think, would you rather get cards and stuff cheaper or support a local business by paying a little more?

Haggle with the store owner that is what I do.  Do not be scarred about hurting feelings and dont be bullied into paying more.  I use this app and show the owner the bottom dollar prices.  What I recommend is writing a list down of what you want with the low, avg., and high prices of each card.  Have them get all the cards you want out and have them total their price.  Then tell them the bottom dollar and meet in the middle.....that's what I do.

That's not the point of this topic.... Nice tip though!

He's asking if it's better to support your local card shop with your business than a random eBay retailer.

I support ease of use.....I order online since the nearest shop is too far.  But when I do go......that is what I do.  Online is cheaper and I have been ripped off by local dealers when i was younger and ill-informed.  So I will spend money to the random eBayer since a dealer would be just as random to me.  Now if I had an awesome local shop....that would be different.

I do both I spend alittle more sometimes cause the guy who runs my local shop is a little old man and all the girls that work in there are really nice.
