Agreed. The author's name should be Wizards of the Coast. This appears not to be a simple substitution cipher since there are inconsistencies (notably x and g).

The official announcement has been made uncoded! http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/arcana/1430

What's interesting to note is that some of the new cards in Conspiracy won't even be Vintage legal. That's the first time in a long time that they've done that.

Discuss!

So this set obviously has some reprints, so what are they? Will they be mostly good filler draft cards like {Kami of Ancient Law} (you know fun things that have multiple purposes) or could we see a few high profile reprints?

Second question: Will this be like a normal set where it is easily available at MSRP or will it be like Modern Masters where it is $200-300 a box?

1st question: I'm expecting a little of both. It's designed for limited, so expect cards that are essential in limited (Kami of ancient law is a good example - a grizzly bear with a relevant activated ability). I'm sure that they will spice it up with something high-demand for all players to increase sales. I'm already hearing speculations at my lgs of possibly fetch lands or other high value staples for pricey formats. You won't see {Tarmagoyf}, because he kinda sucks in limited, but who knows, maybe {Bitterblossum} will show up as a mythic.

2nd question: it's tough to say. It's supposed to be 3.99 a pack, but the print run is limited (kind of like MMa). My store owner was saying that it's even kind of a pain for sellers like him, because they have a very limited time window to buy product. I'm hoping price will stay reasonable, but it's possible it will jump to MMa-levels.

I must say, that draft structure sounds like a lot of hard feelings waiting to happen. Free-for-all with prizes at stake?

It depends on how they handle it. I've done it before a couple of different ways with friends (including prizes) and had a blast.

MaRo confirmed that Conspiracy takes place on a particular plane. He didn't say which one, though.
