I wonder if the unbanning of bitterblossum will hurt affinity as a deck, because of the flying chump blocks it provides. Might drive down affinity staples a tiny bit. Or not...just speculation.

Affinity will still have {{Cranial Plating}} and {{Etched Champion}}. Lots of tricks (switching Cranial Plating after declare blockers, {{Arcbound Ravager}}) will keep it relevant. Still, Affinity already faced a ton of problems with all the post-board hate, now it's even harder.

maybe if we have another artifact block soon that will help?

Yes, affinity was my first modern deck because it was/still is a competitive budget deck, but I've gone in other directions in modern because its so easy to hate and everyone is prepared for it. I don't think it will decrease in popularity, unless Bitterblossom is used across multiple decks, and if that happens Affjnity might just main board  {Spell Pierce}.
