I know this has been asked a million times, but I keep forgetting what everyone thinks.

I'm looking to get 2-3 booster boxes. I am looking to get a set or a couple sets with the most value cards in them. I don't really sell my personal cards, but instead use them as trade fodder.

What set or sets do you guys believe the best would be and why?

I've went on TCG player and looked up the price list of all of the recent sets and still can't decide.

Nothing from theros block. I'd suggest Ravnica because the last printings are happening now. If you're stuck between value cards:

Though I am on a budget, so 300$ boxes won't do.

Sorry man, but I buy standard boxes from my LGS, which you manage (figuratively).  So you are essentially asking me if I should buy born of the gods, or more born of the gods?  Sorry I can't be of much help.  Personally a big fan of lorwyn (first planeswalker release), but I have no clue if there's any money in it.

I won't be back to Nevada until the end of next month or I would just buy a box from there. Darn it.

New Phyrexia boxes are running ~$200 right now and have some great values (Karn, Batterskull, Obliterator).

Okay guys. Going to buy another box here either later today or tomorrow from my buddies game store.

He's got cheaper prices than any online retailer, much better. Also carries older sets in English and several other languages.


So what else should I get???
