It breaks the mana curve bro. I have a playset of fanatics but I can deal just as much damage if not more just with the amount of creatures and auras I'm busting out. Notice how everything is 1-2 mana? This deck runs like butter and outspeeds average RDW I have tested it against the professional RDW and it's always won. The point of RDW is to have as much board presence and overwhelm the opposing force. That's how you win bust out dudes like a machine and wreck face! Haha! :D
Obviously it doesnt break the mana curve if every rdw list that goes top 8 has 4 of them. Also chandra's phoenix is epic... If you think crusader is good and fanatic/ash zealot are bad, you need to find a different deck to play.

Oh no I'm not opposed to it. I'm just posting here so people can have the deck list to try it out and give feedback. Sorry if I seem like I am turning everything down I'm just saying I've thought about the things you guys have already said before. Maybe I just have been looking for a better aura to work with Akroan Crusader. So far besides mad cap I have Tried lots of things, splashing in steam vents for Pursuit of Flight, dragon mantle for card draw and damage bursting fire breathing, they all seemed to work, but I have been recently testing Thunderous Might and it just seems like a better option. Keeping the mana curve at 2 with good synergy and turn 4 win average is what I am trying to maintain, sorry for coming off to strong. Not trying to sound like a jerk.

I never said they are bad. They are great cards. They just don't do what I want my deck to do.

I love that card. I have a playset in my binder, I have been afraid to try it because it doesn't boost damage. I'll test it and see what happens. Thanks Muggy!

For my jund deck I have 2 madcaps that have proven great use with my jesters and other low drops when they pop up, opponents are easily down to 10 by t3 with the right hand. I'd imagine with trample and haste for your build, a satyr becomes very dangerous

. That's why I got those loyalists in there! That battalion ability is nuts! Giving raging goblin a uber ability was a odd desicion by wizards. But hey, they gave us Goblin Guide. I ain't complaining. I miss Krenko though. Poor Kranky..you will be missed good sir! Forever shall you remain an EDH general for me!!! But that's getting off topic, I wanted to mention how awesome I think spike Jester is it's just like the perfect 2 drop! The only drawback is it dies to anything! Give it those Madcap Skills and it's tapping in for 6!!! Talk about broken. Like I said earlier watch that removal!

Could you drop a land or 2 and add another couple of creatures or spells?  Being mono colored it seems like it might be doable.

No {Titan's Strength}? A {Giant Growth} for red is nice. You can also cast it upkeep to take advantage of the scry.
