I think you need more sources of red. Try {sacred foundry} and maybe {boros charm} too. Also, {brimaz, king of oreskos} is awesome if a bit expensive.

I would add in boros charm to help give you more protection against board wipes

Just a bit.   the hoplite is good too, although that would mean the need for even MORE sources of red. Probably.
