Ha!  That's like going back to Junior High. It sucked the first time, let's do it again!  😂

Yes!!!

I one of those idiots that get attached to the stuff everyone else is 'meh' about. I am begging for a return to Kamigawa!!! The flavour of the whole set blew my mind ... but I know it'll never happen. 😔

I loved the flavor too, but wasnt fond of the gameplay. Especially Saviours "hand-size" matters.

And every card being a legendary was a bit much too. Sigh. So much potential for awesomeness. So disappointed the set based in Oriental flavour was 💩

SpiritedAway

What it seems to me is they have been following a pattern recently where they flip between an exciting new set to get new players (ie Innistrad, Eldrazi/Zendikar) and a "let's reward the old players, hey remember this?" like Mirrodin and Ravnica blocks.

Maybe they'll continue the pattern for a while. I think it's great. Because I got into Magic because of how sweet Innistrad is. Now that I've been studying the game enough and having played Ravnica block constructed, I'm really excited for it too. I think it's a nice business plan and good for getting a stream of new players.

I think you're right and that we're going somewhere new after Rav.  After that, I think we are do for a check-in with Dominaria to see the aftermath of TimeSpiral.

Rass

I wouldn't mind seeing a crossover from d&d. There is a lot of stuff that I'm sure would work well
