Sorry, but its true. There is nothing left on Zendikar. The Eldrazi destroyed it all. Its kind of sad. But if the Eldrazi return they'll have gone to another plane, sort of like Phyrexia did.

But koria's story states that she plans to go back to zendikar. And so does elspeth for that matter! THERE WILL BE A RETURN!!!

Sparkle Ninja

But Kiora left before it was destroyed. She left in search of something to defeat the Eldrazi. But the Ekdrazi have already destroyed everything

Sparkle Ninja

Elspeth also has no idea. They are going to return to find everything is gone. It will be the saddest story of all time

That is a big call! I doubt it will ever NOT be a set again and besides, The Roil perfectly sets up some kind of creative avenue for rebirth of soil or hidden mana wells. Ye of little faith, don't go nay sayin yet.
For example: It would be a perfect way to reintroduce {Nissa Revane} as the {B}{G}, land drop/reanimate type the internet has been screaming for! She's all ticked off that her forest is destroyed, let's bring back all her fallen elfin brethren and regrow the jungle! See in thirty seconds, I've come up with a semi plausible return to zendikar bit (given that hypothetically the Eldrazi HAS destroyed everything irreparably), the WotC crew get paid to do this 9 to 5!
MaRo has said nothing is out of the question and if they want to go back to Zendikar next - which it is all pointing back to a yes - then they'll find a way. Besides from Kiora turning up looking for big things to take home as part of her story, there are a lot of big pump able creatures to contend with things the size of Eldrazi anyway, {Colossus of Akros} to name the crappiest one!
Then again, go a head, keep saying they'll do something because there's no way they'd reprint JtMS either...

Red the book! At the WMD it says that there were some survivors, including a band of Elves and nissa that went around and restored life to Eldrazi- torn regions. Perfect setup for a return!

There you go and I haven't even read the book!

Also gideon killed emrakul proving that the gods can be beat. It might not look the same but we will be there again. I estimate within 2 years as the 7 year plan is almost up.

Zendikar must be returned to. Also, Maro has already said he would be shocked if we never see the Eldrazi again. Secondly, Modern is WOTC's favorite format, they have been pushing it a lot because Legacy and Vintage lose out because of the Reserved List and if Modern is going to stick around, they need to reprint the fetches.

Neither can I. I don't want to spend $60 on a Rainforest.

Really? I must have missed that part of the story - how'd he manage to accomplish that? Is there a link to the short story? I'd love to give it a read.

I knew Gideon ended up coming to Ravnica to get more help against the Eldrazi, but I'd never heard anything about Emrakul being dead.

Thats why I said we might end up seeing the Eldrazi Migrating to another plane to destroy some more stuff.
