Control Mirror

I'm trying to get into Control Magic (something that I swore I would never do!) but I want to try and play  it. I started to look at lists online and they all seem similar but I want to play Control/Mill. I literally play 2x {Mind Grind}, 2x {Traumatize} 2 {Jace, Memory Adept} and 4x {Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver} that's it for mill. The other 24 cards are controlly cards Sphinx, Verdict, counter magic, etc. I have an ok match against creature Aggro bc a T4 Verdict and a T5 {Crypt Incursion} is beautiful! But against UW or even other Esper Control decks Idk what to side in!

So, what's the best card in the match-up for control mirror? {AEtherling}?

{Pithing Needle} and {Ratchet Bomb} can shut down Aetherlings.

I have {Pithing Needle} SBed but should I side in more counterspells like {Gainsay}?

Also, I'm thinking of running a SB {Pack Rat} plan so MB 4 creatures all {Omenspeakers} then Side in 4 Rats for the Speakers and catch them off guard. Similar to Robin Dolars Esper list

Well you know how I feel about {Omenspeaker}s lol, love them! They're great early blockers and help you scry into the things you need <3

{Gainsay} is a fabulous SB card for the Mirror. And {Pack Rat} is NEVER a bad choice.

I also know you really like Sphinx's Rev. things of that nature, but cutting it down to UB really helps stabilize your mana base, which makes the entire thing run so much more smoothly.

Pretty sure she was referring to pithing needle.. I hope..

But before I tore apart my esper deck, I liked that I could sideboard 2x {duress} 2x {gainsay} 2x{thoughtseize}  vs the control mirror
